Brioche Breakfast Burger

Tip Top Brioche Style Bun 1
Rashers of streaky maple bacon 2
Beef patty 120g
Butter 1 tbsp
Cheddar cheese 1 slice
Egg 1
Avocado, sliced ½
Chipotle mayo 2 tbsp
Oak lettuce leaf 1
Salt and pepper, to taste

Methods

Step 01

Cook the bacon in a non-stick pan over medium heat until crispy. Set aside

Step 02

In the same pan, melt the butter and cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top the patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.

Step 03

In a separate pan, fry the egg over medium heat until the yolk is cooked to your desired consistency.

Step 04

Toast the Brioche Bun until lightly golden, spread the chipotle mayo on the bottom half of the bun then add the lettuce leaf followed by the beef patty with cheese on top of the lettuce.

Step 05

Top the patty with the bacon, sliced avocado and the fried egg.

Step 06

Place the top half of the bun on top of the ingredients.

Step 07

Serve immediately for best results

Note: If you prefer the bacon to be crispy, you can cook it in the oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
