Detroit Style Smoked Ham Hock and Green Pea Pizza

Ingredients

  • 600g Pizza dough
  • 80ml Tomato sugo
  • 150g Perfect Italiano Mozzarella Shred
  • 100g Green peas, blanched, chilled and loosely crushed
  • drizzle Olive oil
  • Flaked sea salt and cracked pepper to taste

Method

  1. Roll out pizza dough into a loose rectangle shape and shape/press into a rectangle tray
  2. Evenly spread tomato sugo onto the base, followed by Perfect Italiano Mozzarella Shred
  3. Sprinkle crushed peas over mozzarella. 
  4. Add pulled pork hock pieces  
  5. Bake in pizza oven until based is crisp on the bottom and mozzarella is golden and blistered 
  6. Remove from the oven and drizzle with olive oil, sea salt and cracked pepper 
  7. Slice into large rustic style slices.
